Real Life Mermaid from Australia

Underwater swimmer Hannah Fraser has been fascinated with mermaids since she was three years old.

Hannah, 36, an Australian who now lives in LA, made her first mermaid tail at the age of nine, after seeing the film Splash with Daryl Hannah.

Now she works as a model, actress and performer, swimming with whales, dolphins, stingrays and even sharks.

  7. NEWS FLASH..

I got that so totally wrong... they were not mermaids at all

    Appearance of the Sirens
The Sirens were special Sea Nymphs who were living in an isolated island, the island of the Faiakes. They had the body of a bird, but their head was human-like.

    What made the Sirens extraordinary?
The Sirens had the gift of singing in a very seductive manner. Each sailor who was passing by this island got enchanted by their voice and was condemned to stay in their island forever and die. All over the island of the Faiakes there were bones of sailors who weren’t able to resist the Sirens' divine melody.

  14. I'm trying to figure out if that's a bra, a tattoo or an image manipulation, Angie.

  17. Manfred.. I am guessing that the image has been manipulated

It would appear that Hannah has her own photography business also and here is a pitch from her advertising..

"Flying Colours Creations produces amazing artworks ranging from fairies to cyber computer graphics which are available in a variety of products ranging from greeting cards and posters to stickers and transfers, as well as graphic design services for book illustrations, package designs, labels, murals, prints, business cards, logos, flyers, wall hangings, CD covers and much more. Hannah’s magical artworks contain the enchantment of mythical ages, the beauty of nature, and the visionary insight into the new age of spirituality…"
