ewwwww... advertising with a difference...

Londoners were reportedly sickened by the sight of muscular black-and-white arms clutching copies of the SEGA game ‘MadWorld’. The PR stunt might have generated some controversy, but it also got the game a lot of attention.

  4. That advertising on THAT bridge is short-selling...

That is Westminster Bridge with the UK Houses of Parliament behind...

So where is the leg to go with that arm??

Everything that comes out of that building costs at least an arm and a leg!!

  7. The game was in the bargain bucket in the local supermarket, so what does that tell you?
Yep, after an hour of playing it - the same thing over and over. you get fed up. That's gonna be a trade in!!

  8. Dave, I remember when the kids were alot younger, and they would be allowed to play Playstation.. they were each allowed 1 hour.. so for me, it was back to back 2 hours of the sound effects of the slash and hack games .. was realllllly annoying. I sure dont miss that!

  10. I used to help a programmer design games, so from that side, I kind of miss that point. One thing that IS different about this game in particular is that it's in black and white and like a comic book.
I like the black and white effect but the rest, what a pile of guff! 60 mins and your thinking "boring" 120 minutes and it's 'i've had enough of this".
If i were to rate it it'd be 3/10 (1 for design, 1 for the black and white effect and 1 for the comic book effect.)
It doesn't flow through levels very smoothly at all. :(
There again, it was only something like 4.99 (UKP) in the bargain bucket ;)
