OMG I saw this myself on a news site... I have to admit that I started smoking at a pretty young age myself, but then, fortunately, I was able to quit. I wonder if this young man will be able to quit....
After smoking 20 cigarettes a day for 20 years, I found that quitting smoking was one of the easiest things I ever did.
However, I found that finding a strong enough reason to quit smoking was bloody hard!
So, I have changed my call. Everyone says "Go on, quit smoking!", which never works or vexes the imagination. What I say now is "Find yourself a reason to quit smoking".
In my instance, I had been smoking for 25 years, at least. I was sick and tired of it. So I set myself a deadline to quit, and wanted to quit so badly that I quit two weeks ahead of time. I have to say, I have NO desire to ever smoke again.
Like me, you must have just gotten totally sick of it. And congratulations on quitting!
does it seem odd? it seems well beyond odd... it seems disturbing and disgusting..
there's an old nicholas cage n' laura dern movie (name's escaping me right now) in which they're talking about when they started smoking.. she says, 'about 11'... he says 'about seven'... (his character was quite off the beaten path)... but the kid in this vid.. different culture, i know.. but still, none of the other young kids watching him were smoking..)
Imagine letting a child smoke at 18mo!!
