Cat Survives 19 Hours locked in chest freezer!

A New Zealand family's cat has survived 19 hours in a freezer.

Krillen the cat was found by owner Sarah Crombie, 27, laying stiff and semi-conscious on a bag of dog food when she went to get a loaf of bread out fo the freezer.

"I was looking in there and I heard this funny noise. It was sort of a miaow, but he was so half-frozen he couldnt get the noise out properly, poor thing. So I looked down and I see the grey fluffy thing sitting on top of the bag of dog food under a rack.

Her Partner had shut the top loading freezer the night before, not realizing the cat was inside.

Fortunately  Mr Sisson Knew it was essential to raise the body temperature of hypothermia sufferers slowly, so he put the cat under  his shirt and got into bed with him.

The dairy farmer Kept Krillen under blankets and against his bare chest for three hours until he thawed out.

Awwwww Poor  LIttle thing.!!

  2. ROFL (able to laugh as the cat survived) , Isn't the article stating that "the cat was found. . .laying stiff" a bit of a understatement? Wonder how many lives Krillen has left?

  11. well, even tho 'the office' is tangential to the cat in da freezer and i've not heard from angie if she's into the office, but deb and slowread are, here's some bloopers from that show... it's a long vid and i didn't chuckle (or lol) at every phuckup, but the 'screw you, beet farmer' bit at 5:30 and the end of the vid with directions to dwight's wedding site are, i think, worth the watching..

annnnd, not blooper-wise, but one of the staples of the show is..

okay, no more office (for now at least).... hey angie, how's it going?

Its got to be a multiply setting cause I cant use the lap top or the desktop for audio. .. Just be thankful for the peace and quiet David lol

  15. And..... Yep I have heard that story about the Cat being packed and shipped off. I was in fact telling my Aunty about it yesterday while she and I were discussing this story. (although I couldnt recall in which country the event took place or the year).
That snippet of information that you were reading about people and animals surviving boiling temperatures, hmm.. its not one of my blogs. Doesn't seem possible. If you recall where you were reading it Id love the link David. Ive googled it but so far zilch.

Thanks for the audio clip David, Ive missed yr audios. Angie

ps.. no Ive not seen this show before, BUT I dont watch much if any television so it could be out there.. or.. it could be on a channel that I dont recieve down here but Deb may receive it .. Deb?
