About 6pm on the 2nd June, 2008 a man arrived at the Cannington Police Station with a brown paper bag that contained thousands of dollars in notes.
The man who handed in the cash told police the bag was spotted by his wife on their lawn a few days ago and they thought nothing of it until their son looked inside and realised the value of the contents.
Police believe the owner will be able to recognise the cash and the way it was bundled together and have invited him or her to call at the Cannington Police Station on Albany Highway to identify and collect the money.tained thousands of dollars in notes.
