An unlikely trio




Wild fox, wild eagle (another eagle in the foreground perched on the lamp post) and a stray cat...all come and socialise together (for food most probably).  The cat sitting down is her pet cat.

Wouldn't this be just awesome to open your door to?!!

This YouTuber lives in Unalaska, Alaska in the Aleutian Islands.

    THAT is phenomenal! That fox is so durned cute. Nobody was freaking out, could teach humans of different cultures a thing or two...

    What a crew. I'm amazed the eagle would sit so still close to either a fox or a human, and the cats seemed not disturbed in the slightest. I wonder how that all came to pass.

    The woman who uploaded these to YouTube has uploaded a number of similar ones with the same animals. Im thinking I may email her and ask for an update to this story. If I do I will let you know.

    There were two eagles in that second clip, though only one was sitting next to the cat. I really am amazed.

    Back again.. but only just.. I have a kazillion things to do today and Im really making a slow start!

    Boat is coming along slowly, thanks Bob. I doubt that we will begin the fishing season on time though. It will be great if when we get the boat back into the water and do our sea trials if eveything JUST WOKS lol . there is still work to be done once she's back in the water.. it wont be "ok, she is in the water we can fish"

    I was showing Glenn some of the clips this lady has uploaded onto YouTube with her animals.. and I noticed that they have only recently been uploaded... and there is one there from last month of her son who was very ill ( due to drugs being mixed with his beer for a joke (by persons unknown).. so I wont email her... instead.. I will keep an eye on her YouTube site and hopefully she will continue to post.

    Hope your day went well... another day at work for you I suppose? Im off to do some work now... I will try to shoot you a message over the next day or two Bob. bye for now

    I saw that short video of her son. I was appalled someone would think that was a joke.

    What incredible videos!! The cats could have been prey to either the fox or eagle, yet they all stayed there together. Is this lady the granddaughter of Dr. Doolittle? Maybe there is hope for us as well .... this place's version of "and the lion will lie down with the lamb!"
