Great photos, thanks for posting!
Aren't they Sam!Glad you viewed them. I was showing Glenn these earlier and when we were reading out how many light years they were away and also the very size of some of these.. truely amazing. Makes a person feel pretty insignificant.
Feeling insignificant is not really a bad thing in my book... I think it is healthier and certainly a more realistic viewpoint than feeling overly significant...
Hey! *pinch* I heard that!I personally find it REALLL significant that I got lucky 'nuff to be manifested here, now , just in time to see photos like this... *mischief eyes an'grin*
Who needs photoshop?
Hey thanks Paul... I dont know why my link didnt post as a cickable link... I clicked on the link you left in your comment thinking.. goodie, some more amazing pics.. doh, I was at the origional link I posted. While I was there I checked out the one that amazed Glenn and I with the description of size.. Number 6... In sixth place is the Cone Nebula. The part pictured here is 2.5 light years in length (the equivalent of 23 million return trips to the Moon).I find it fascinating that we can learn all this about "whats up there" .. with everything we learn.. its really ony a drop in the ocean from what there IS to stil discover and learn.
A friend of mine has some pretty amazing links in regards to the universe on his page also, If your interested....http://david4bp.multiply.com/journal/item/135/Why_or_How_We_Are...._

How are you Dave. When I first saw the "Crab Nebula" a few years ago, I actually assumed it was a photoshopped pic.. when I read about what I was looking at I was stunned. We live in a very very amazing universe, for sure.
Ive been using the instructions you gave regarding inserting images into comments and blogs, Im really appreciative of the help.. Oh... as you woud have seen from the little Tabby on your page earlier. Again, thanks for taking the time to help me with that.
